On Thursday, 26 February 2026, the Hospitality Association of Namibia is proud to announce its partnership with Talentsbridge e.V. as one of its valued local partners in Namibia. In cooperation with the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Berlin), TalentsBridge is establishing a vocational training centre in Namibia. The programme is being implemented in partnership with the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture (MEIYSAC), as well as local and German businesses.

This initiative equips young Namibians with German-standard skills, bridging the skilled worker shortage in Germany and Namibia’s high youth unemployment.

The programme addresses dual challenges, Germany’s need for qualified professionals and Namibia’s untapped youth potential. By offering recognised qualifications, intensive language training, and cultural preparation, graduates gain seamless access to labour markets in both countries, fostering better integration through practical expertise and direct employer ties.

𝘈𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘕𝘰𝘸 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯, 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦: 31 March 2026
𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵: Language courses commence in May 2026
𝘋𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: As from September 2026, 24 months of hands-on, practical training
𝘍𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴 𝘖𝘤𝘤𝘶𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴: Industrial Electrics, Wholesale & Retail and Hospitality (expanding to additional fields in future cohorts)
𝘊𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺: Initially, 100 trainees to be selected for this intake
𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦 𝘍𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴: Company-led internships, scholarships, on-campus branches for the sub-Saharan market, and proactive job placements in Germany

Training mirrors German dual-education standards, delivered on Namibian soil for accessibility. Participants will engage with industry experts, gaining real-world experience that positions them for immediate employment.
